I love this pattern, it was quick to work and easy to read. The only mod I would make is to lengthen the hand part so that the cables would reach my knuckles. They’re a bit short.

I really, really should post more often but I always seem to post my stuff on Craftster.org instead of posting it on here. Maybe I’ll just start posting it on here and then posting links on Craftster or something. Anyway, here we go.
Testing a bear pattern. Here’s the post about it.

Brittany’s finished baby blanket. She’s had her girl and she’s adorable!

The MC. It’s got a wonky seam (my fault). The pattern is from Get Your Crochet On!

Wonky seam! I don’t know how I did this but it didn’t happen with the second one I did. Who knows, I still love the hat, I wear it quite often.

Here’s a few more pictures of stuff I’ve done… The blanket is for Brittany, a coworker of mine. The hats are for friends for xmas or to sell, don’t know which yet. I made the grey and blue hat while I was in PA visiting my Dad, I also started the baby blanket but I haven’t finished it yet. The blanket pattern called for a size G hook which is what I started in but I moved to an I hook ’cause it was such a tight weave and it was curling pretty bad. It’s working up much faster now and much softer, lol.
Baby blanket - about half done

Year long blanket - lots more squares to do!

Grey hat - Made large enough for a mans head or a females with a rolled brim.

Blue hat - also made big for my model, but fits me well.

I’ve gotten a good bit done, including a few CAL squares. I’m going to try to post pictures of them all and then start posting everyday or every other day. No more months between post!
I’ve decided to make one blanket that’s green and purple, so I’m trying to use both colors in all my squares. A little white in there just to lighten things up.
May Square

June Square

July Square

August

Tomorrow I’ll do a catch up post on the hats I’ve made. I made a couple in PA and I did some sewing.
I want to post pictures of Brittany’s baby blanket I’m making too, but I want to get new pictures of that one. Lots to come!

I knit Bryce (I hope that’s how they spelled his name), Sly’s nephew, a hat. I used THIS pattern from Knitty and posted it HERE on Craftster.

I’m also participating in THIS crochet-along and here are the squares I’ve done so far.

The green was my first one, the varigated my second and the purple my third. I can tell the difference with practice, hehe. Anyway, I can’t WAIT until February, I hope she’s able to post the square tomorrow.

I finally got it! I’m very excited to finally get to explore this lovely site.
I’ve been working steadily on xmas gifties. I made some hot cocoa jars, some socks, gonna cross stitch some ornaments. Hopefully I’ll have pictures soon. I hope everyone is doing well for the holidays!
Oh, I got a job at Wal-Mart. Yay. It’s a pay check and it’s retail. That’s about all I can say without being mean or rude. :p

This lovely person on Craftster made these snowflake soaps with molds she found at Target for only $2.50! So, I ran off to Target and grabbed the snowflake one and the snowman one. The snowflake soap is a Fresh Rain scent with just white soap and the snowmen are avocado and cucumber base and sandalwood scented with oatmeal.

My brother and I made some candles and soap the past couple days. It’s kept me pretty sane, thankfully. I started another NIN hat, I tried to knit it in the round but I couldn’t figure out the two colors while knitting in the round, so I just gave up and I’m working it flat. :p I also started another pair of toddler socks for Sly’s sister, I need to get pics of the ones I’ve made and these. I haven’t cast on for my sweater yet, but I’m carrying the yarn around with me, so maybe I’ll do that tonight. Anyway, here’s a couple pics of the candles and soap, and I’m off to the movies! We’re going to see American Gangster, hope it good!
The white ones smell like coconut, the red one smells like rose/honey suckle and the yellow is ginger and lemon (it’s surprisingly nice, and not just because I made it. ![]()

I ground up some dove soap and made oatmeal soap, I found a place online that talked about it but I can’t find the link right now so I’ll post it later. It’s very nice but I’ll have to grind it up finer next time, it’s a bit sharp when you’re washing with it. Good for feet or back scrubbing, ifin you ask me.
